DirectionsFrom Roanoke, VA, or Greensboro, NC: Take U.S. Route 220 to Rocky Mount, VA to Route 40 West (follow signs to Ferrum College and The Crooked Road). Go Approximately 2.5 miles past Ferrum College on Route 40 West (look for sign on left side of road at Pernello Road). Turn left in first drive after Sawmill Road (on right) and Pernello Road (on left). From I-81 at Christiansburg: Take Route 8 to Route 40 East (curvy mountain road for several miles).
